Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Lyno collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our Discord bot and related services.
1. Information We Collect
- Discord User IDs: Used to identify users for commands, permissions, and personalized features.
- Discord Server IDs: Used to identify servers where Lyno is active, manage configurations, and apply server-specific settings.
- Discord Channel IDs: Used for features that require interaction with specific channels, such as logging, announcements, or custom command responses.
- Command Usage: We log which commands are used, how often, and by whom (via user ID) to improve bot functionality and identify popular features. This does not include the content of your commands unless explicitly necessary for a feature (e.g., arguments for a search command, which are not permanently stored).
- Voice Channel Data: For music features, Lyno processes audio data in real-time to play music. This audio data is not recorded or stored.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain Lyno's features and services.
- To personalize your experience with Lyno.
- To analyze usage patterns and improve bot performance, reliability, and functionality.
- To troubleshoot issues and provide user support.
- To enforce our Terms of Service and ensure compliance with Discord's guidelines.
3. Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information collected through Lyno from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We do not permanently store sensitive user data or message content. Any transient data necessary for immediate bot functions is purged promptly.
4. Information Sharing
- Legal Requirements: If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency).
- To Protect Rights: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Lyno, our users, or the public, as required or permitted by law.
5. Your Choices
- Removing Lyno from your server: This will stop Lyno from collecting any further data from your server. Server-specific configuration data will be deleted after a period of inactivity or upon request.
- Disabling specific commands or features: Server administrators can configure Lyno's permissions and settings to limit its functionality.
